Conductivity meters ELMETRON, sometimes called conductivity meters (EC meters), are used to measure electrical conductivity, salinity, TDS (total dissolved particles) and sometimes resistivity. They are used to measure the electrical conductivity of ultrapure water, groundwater, clean water, river water, wastewater, in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, during production processes, during galvanization processes, to measure the salt content in soil and hydroponics.

Measurements of conductivity at temperatures other than the reference temperature require the introduction of an adequate coefficient α (temperature coefficient), which is very often a problem, but has the greatest impact on measurement accuracy. In the ELMETRON conductometers of the 401 series and above, you can choose the automatic introduction of the coefficient of change for natural and ultrapure water, which greatly simplifies the work and increases the accuracy of measurement.
